The jug, which is unfortunately detached from its handle after someone managed to drop it, was perfect, and shows the hand painted gold.

ola402 Well-Known Member. Found a really sweet Aynsley Cup and Saucer but I can't find any info on it. Does anyone know of an on line Aynsley resource? There appears to be a number on the bottom, 2909, maybe? I'm so used to that wonderful Royal Albert site and yet can't find a thing on AYnsley. This looks like a teacup 2 1/2" high by 3" wide.
